In 2019, we kicked off our first sold-out event for International Women's Day by bringing you the "SHECosystem Mixer". In 2020 year, we focused on establishing & building women's tribes. We recognized "Tribe Leaders" in the city, highlighting existing, new, and up-coming women-owned businesses, and of course enjoyed a #DeliciouslyDope brunch, with complimentary bottomless mimosas, provided by Soleil Kitchen! We welcomed The National Black Law Students Association Conference as their official destination on that weekend! If you missed this event, oh baby, you missed one hell of a great time! Our second annual Her Tribe Brunch was on 3.27.2022 from 11-3PM EST.
Our 5 year anniversary event was our 1st event since the onset of the pandemic, and we couldn't be happier! We immersed guest in A Night in Le Soleil; an intimate, lavish anniversary party, celebrating 5 years of our entrepreneurial journey, growth, community support, and of course, connections over delicious food!
Attendees were able to enjoy a dope & memorable experience, featuring DJ Bandcamp, hosted by our madam MC, Charisse Gibson, 360 Photo Booth, swag bags with SK products and highlights from local businesses, followed by heavy hors d'oeuvre's. If you missed this event, you missed a great time! We thank our guest for attending, The city of Cincinnati for our proclamation, and state representative, Sedrick Denson, for our recognition from the state of Ohio!
In 2010, Chef Soleil's grandmother lost her battle with breast cancer and it propelled her to do more in her community for Breast Cancer warriors and survivors. This idea gave birth to Cooking for a Cause. Each event, we recognize women in remission or current warriors, give back to local non-profit organizations that provide services and/or care for current breast cancer warriors and those in remission.
This pop-up series not only supports bringing awareness of breast cancer to the masses, but we also donate a portion of proceeds to a local organization that we partner with. Our inaugural event kicked off 10/28/2018 and our 2nd annual event was held on 10/27/2019. Due to Covid-10, we chose to hold off in 2020 and 2021. We look forward to planning t 3rd event in this series October 2022!
